Ear Candling can be enjoyed on its own or when added to your session. In total, ear candling can take up to 60 minutes when doing one candle per ear. Followed by cranial sacral work and fascial work and the option of receiving drops of garlic oil into your ear canal to soothe the tissues, aiding in drainage, and help soften deeper and future ear wax.
I suggest to wear comfortable clothing. If you have long hair I suggest to bring something to put it up and keep it out of the way. Bring something to drink! The fascial work after the candling will detox your tissues and it’s wise to flush that out of your system with hydration.
This is a very relaxing experience, you are welcome to chat during the session or simply rest.
If you are sick with a fever, stay home until you are well. You can come in once you have recovered. If you have any fascial cuts or burns I will not be able to massage that area of your face or jawline.
Benefits of this Ear Candling Experience:
Relieving sinus issues
Reducing tinnitus
Helping swimmers ear
Healing after a head cold or sinus cold
Reducing vertigo and dizzy spells
Reducing headaches and migraines
Reducing excess wax build up
It’s always fun to look inside the candle to see how much came out! The candles I use have wax catchers inside at the bottom so that wax doesn’t fall back into your ear. At the end of the session I’ll look inside the candle to determine how often you may need to have ear candling done again. If a lot of wax is removed it means there was a lot and that would mean you would want to get in the next week. If a small amount or next to nothing comes out, then it’s up to the client to be mindful how their ears feel in a few months or with the change of seasons and with the different pollen in the air.
